Even as a global organization dedicated to “Service Above Self”, Rotary has always had, first and foremost, a local community-based focus. The Rotary Club of Cobourg, over its 99-year history, has provided service and support to innumerable organizations, groups, and individuals in our area, and has worked diligently and highly co-operatively with other Northumberland organizations to the benefit of the larger community as a whole.

Rotary, locally, has supported many projects, ranging from the Hospital and the Cobourg Community Centre to a huge variety of smaller, more specific and esoteric requests. Most recently, the Rotary Club of Cobourg made a financial request from Rebound Child and Youth Services,  come true, and on a larger scale, was a major donor to Ed’s House, the new Community Care Northumberland hospice.

The Rotary Club of Cobourg through its various committees identifies and helps realize dreams and visions for so many in our community.
