Inaugural Meeting

The three major Fundraisers are Sportsman's Night Gourmet Dinner and Auction, held early in February, the Waterfront Festival, held over the Canada Day Weekend in July and Northumberland Ribfest, which is held in August.  These events raise well over two hundred thousand dollars a year, all of which are donated to local or international causes.

How can we help you?

Each year, the Rotary Club of Cobourg contributes thousands of dollars to many worthy community projects. Some of the major contributions we have made helped build the Cobourg Community Centre, Northumberland Hills Hospital and C. Gordon King Public Library. We also help many small organizations and individuals. Please review some of our past donations. All requests are coordinated by the Club Secretary and evaluated by various committees within the Club. Details

Northumberland Ribfest CrowdYou know you want it! That's right... juicy, saucy, fall-off-the-bone ribs are back this weekend at the annual Northumberland Ribfest & Music Festival in Cobourg's beautiful Victoria Park. The action kicks off Friday at noon and goes all weekend. Join us for great food, fellowship and music.

This year we have two headline acts. On Friday night Hot Rocks, the Rolling Stones tribute band takes to the stage at 7:00 p.m. You'll hear all of the Stones greatest hits. This band might just do the Rolling Stones better than the Rolling Stones do!

On Sunday, Green River, the Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute band does two shows (3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.). If you grew up in the 60's and 70's you know how big CCR was. Hits like Have You Ever Seen The Rain, Bad Moon Rising, Proud Mary and Suzie Q are some of what you'll hear.

Join us this weekend for the event of the summer. Gates open at noon on Friday, August 18th. Details
